JOB OVERVIEW
Ontario Power Generation (OPG) seeks to engage a dynamic, strategic, and results-oriented professional to join our team in the capacity of Clerical Support Personnel.
This position, which reports directly to the Section Manager, is tasked with executing proficient clerical and secretarial responsibilities within an office context situated in an industrial environment.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Executing front desk hostess responsibilities and clerical tasks, which encompass:
- Answering and directing incoming phone calls and greeting external visitors
- Sorting and distributing incoming and outgoing mail and arranging and dispatching delivery requests
- Verify delivery documents against original orders rectifying discrepancies
Utilizing a desktop computer and associated software for the purpose of:
- Organize and oversee a comprehensive calendar of events, work schedules, and records of vacation time.
- Documenting the minutes of meetings and coordinating all requisite provisions for meetings and training sessions.
- Uploading documents to the Intranet, as well as managing Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and monitoring overdue documents.
