Responsibilities:
- Provides containers, permits, keys, and towels to authorized users and supervises their return.
- Opens the facility in the morning, secures it at closing, and ensures that the areas are kept tidy and secure in accordance with the established procedures.

- Establishes instruments.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma.
- a minimum of one year of directly related work experience in a recreational sports or community facility, which includes the following responsibilities: managing cash, issuing receipts, monitoring the security and maintenance of the facility, and providing service to patrons/participants..
- An understanding of the fundamentals of computer operation and software.
- Strong English language skills, effective oral and written communication abilities.
- It is essential to possess the capacity to effectively communicate with the public, students, and personnel, as well as to adhere to established procedures and aural and written instructions.
- It is imperative to possess the ability to manage currency and maintain precise and detailed records.
- Students from the University of Winnipeg will be prioritized.
An equivalent combination of education, experience, skills, knowledge and abilities may be considered.
Condition(s) of Employment:
- It is necessary to possess legal authorization to operate in Canada.
- Must be capable of working day, evening, and/or weekend schedules.
- Must possess Basic First Aid and CPR, or be capable of obtaining them within three months of employment.
- Proof of effective certification of the Manitoba Child Abuse Registry and Winnipeg Police Service Criminal Record Check is required. Please be advised that the applicant is accountable for both.
The successful candidate will be expected to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, which will be scheduled in accordance with the department’s requirements. Monday through Friday, shifts may occur at any time between 5:30 a.m. and midnight. Additional hours beyond the mandatory minimum of 20 will be scheduled contingent upon availability.
