What does this role look like at YMCA Calgary?
Duties and Responsibilities include serving as the primary point of contact for incoming phone inquiries to the YMCA.
- Responsible for the administrative responsibilities delegated by the supervisor, including the administration of waitlists, the follow-up of promotional sales, and the return of payments.
- Identify and establish opportunities to improve the YMCA experience for all individuals.
- Achieve and surpass the expectations of consumers in all aspects of the Engagement Centre’s service.
- Execute all membership, program, and transactional responsibilities with precision for all consumers who contact the YMCA through the Engagement Centre.
- Comprehend the organizational structure and operations of the YMCA Calgary Association in order to communicate a substantial amount of information in a plain and concise manner over the telephone.
- Strengthen and sustain harmonious working relationships with all volunteers and employees.
- Facilitate the exchange of real-time information throughout the association by utilizing communication channels.
- Assist in the orientation of all new employees and volunteers
- Achieve optimal collective outcomes by working in a team environment

We are currently seeking candidates to cover the following shifts: 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, and 12:00 p.m. to 15:00 p.m. on Mondays and Thursdays.
