Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities are as follows:
- Document confidential client information in the Subsidy Assistance Management System (SAMS) database.
- Offer information and referrals to clients who are vulnerable and have complex requirements.
- Inform the client of the variety of City and community subsidy programs and services that are pertinent to their requirements.
- Deal with threats, de-escalate hostile clients, and mediate disputes with customers.
- Identify and contribute to system enhancements that will lead to a more effective and efficient program for customers and staff.
- Instruct new personnel on the policies and procedures of the corporation and its programs, as well as the SAMS database.
