What You’ll Be Doing

  • Establish a cordial and inviting atmosphere by greeting and checking in patients.
  • Oversee patient inquiries, including booking, rescheduling, and general information requests, as well as incoming phone calls and emails.
  • Ensure that diagnostic imaging appointments are scheduled and coordinated, including but not limited to ultrasound, X-ray, pain management, mammograms, and bone mineral density (BMD). This will promote optimal patient flow and accurate referrals.
  • Provide patients with pre-exam instructions and guarantee that they are adequately equipped for procedures.
  • Ensure that patient procedures are completed in a timely manner and that reporting is accurate by working in conjunction with technologists and radiologists.
  • Manage supplies, maintain office organization, and execute clerical duties, including scanning, archiving, and faxing.
  • Professionally and efficiently address and resolve any unforeseen issues.
